Sunday Roast in Epping Forest!

What better way to spend a sunny Sunday than taking a leisurely walk through Epping Forest, followed by a traditional Sunday lunch! We have a couple of local favourites!

It’s not just our opinion, but these two pubs are also well rated on Trip Advisor for their food, service and atmosphere. Our number one  choice is The Moletrap, a family owned pub where you will receive a warm welcome from Dave & Jean.

It is a freehouse with a good selection of independent guest beers, and an extensive menu of homemade food, especially for Sunday Lunch!  Roast beef, Yorkshires, all the trimmings and a great selection of favourite puddings if you still have room!

Our other favourite is The Theydon Oak, a dining pub offering a 4 course Sunday Lunch usually with 4 choices of roast meats and a selection of starters and puddings followed by cheese and biscuits!  Definitely needs to be taken at a leisurely pace to get through it all, but well deserved if you have already been for a good long walk in the forest!
