The main Barn (known as the “Old Barn”) started life in the 16th Century and still boasts traditional oak beams and a high vaulted ceiling – a large, airy space, which lends itself as an ideal venue for family and friends gatherings.

The main single storey “Old Barn” presents elegant dining for all guests to your left and to the right, you will see the “Sitting” and “Recreational” areas, complete with a comprehensive entertainment centre, including Sky, Blu-ray/DVD/ CD and music players. There is also a pool table and table tennis table for competitive families or just for fun!

There is a door to the guest accommodation of 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, which are situated on 2 floors in the adjoining barn – the “New Barn”. A hallway leads to a large kitchen, featuring an Aga and breakfast table for 6 guests with all modern facilities including a double fridge with water dispenser and a full range of glass and chinaware. The kitchen leads to a utility room and onto a South West facing patio.

Outdoor Facilities

Leading from the Old Barn, there are double doors onto a raised South-West facing decking area, the place to be on a sunny afternoon. Guests have exclusive use of a BBQ area (gas and charcoal) with garden furniture for outdoor dining.

The Great Barn is set within a large external grassed area and there is also a ground floor patio area off the kitchen/ utility room which also connects via a few steps up to the decking area.

Please note: outside the curtilage of the barn are two sets of ponds, one in front of the adjacent farmhouse and two (not obvious) below the barn. Guests should ensure their children are kept within the delineated and fenced areas at all times for their own safety.

The entrance gate from the roadway into the farmyard allows access to the property and there is on-site parking for six cars. In general the gate should be kept shut for health & safety and security purposes.
