We are well-served for local pubs, including The Green Man (easy walking distance) and The Dog House. Both provide great food, but it is advisable to check first that they are open for food at the desired time and have a table. Booking is recommended, particularly for a group. The Dog House has an extensive menu, does a good Sunday Lunch and is about 6 to 8 minutes away by car. Another firm favourite is the Garnon Bushes which provides consistently good, home-cooked food.
